Client Business Issue
An insurer with branches in the UK and across continental Europe had separate Policy Administration Systems within each country. The requirement was to replace these within one single system to enable the unification of disparate processes and data capture operations. With multiple branches involved the client needed an independent objective process to be managed and delivered.

Watertrace ensured that the process commenced with the design and agreement of common pan-European business requirements. These requirements formed the focal point for decision making throughout the selection process. From these requirements Watertrace managed a structured process through Request for Information, Request for Proposal, demonstrations, reference site visits, selection, contractual negotiation and implementation study. All phases were characterised by a direct orientation to the defined requirements within an objective decision making framework. Through Watertrace management of the process the time required of the clients' staff was kept to a minimum.
